Job Description The role of the Country Director is critical for the success of Expanding Boundaries International and reports directly to the Managing Director responsible for Director of Ghana Operation will spearhead Expanding Boundaries International’s strategic and operational engagement in the country.
Expanding Boundaries International seeks a talented, entrepreneurial, result oriented, and experienced professional who will lead the Ghana country team in implementing high-quality programs in Expanding Boundaries International’s sectors.

The Country Director is responsible for leading and driving the country program. It is a multi-faceted role focused on securing adequate funding to sustain operations, upscale, and strategically strengthen the country’s program while ensuring compliance and high-quality delivery. It will require the Country Director to be well informed about national and international development priorities and steer the sectors in response to them.
The Country Director must provide strong hands-on guidance and management at all levels to enable staff to comply with national and international laws and policies. The Country Director will forge partnerships and alliances between Expanding Boundaries International and important national and international actors and stimulate collaboration for impact in Expanding Boundaries International sectors. He/she will also be the face of Expanding Boundaries International in the country and ensure its positive image and visibility.
The Country Director will lead, coach, and support a team of professionals to perform at their best to meet and exceed client, donor, and Expanding Boundaries International corporate expectations. In addition, she/he will be a key member of Expanding Boundaries International’s global senior management team, making meaningful contributions to help shape the future of Expanding Boundaries International.
Qualifications Education •
Bachelors or Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline;
Terms of Appointment
This is a full-time 6-month contract; we have the opportunity to convert it into a permanent position after six months of contract evaluation.
This position is flexible - there are days that you will be required to work 40 hours a week while on other days, 20 hours a week; you, as the individual, must be good with time management and be present when needed.
*Applicant will be given a laptop but must be able to demonstrate their computer literacy skills and a good Internet connection. Salary - Introductory rate of 1,100 cedis per month with additional 200 cedis per month for miscellaneous expenses - Salary will be paid bi-weekly (650 cedis every two weeks) Expanding Boundaries International is a global organization committed to bringing different people, ideas, and perspectives together.
