African Headwrap Workshop
History. Style. Culture. Cuisine
In this interactive workshop, you will learn different wrap styles, get an overview of the history of head wraps as well as the connection to the culture of the African diaspora. You will enjoy live demonstrations in breakout sessions and leave with a stylish head wrap of which you can be proud!

Open to ages 6 and above. All gender welcome!
Two ticket options are available. Both tickets include Drinks and Snacks, including Fried Plantains, Chicken bites, and puff puff (West African snack) and non-alcoholic drinks
- $35 ticket includes your African head wrap fabric.
- $20 ticket does not include a wrap. You are highly encouraged to bring your fabric to get maximum benefit from demonstrations. (Headwraps will be on sale at the event for $20/each.)
- Kids ages 6 to 15 are free but no head wrap
