Hey City Explores! Starting May 8th, Join Expanding Boundaries International – City Explorers Program for their ‘Around The World’ virtual tour to Germany, Botswana, Japan, South Africa, Russia, and Sri Lanka. It’ll be an interactive exploration via google earth.
Q: So when does our Virtual Tour Start?
A: The dates are every Saturday starting on May 8th, May 15th, May 22, May 29th, June 5th to June 12. 1 pm to 2 pm EST each Saturday.
Q: So What is Around The World Virtual Tour?
A: Our Virtual tour is designed for you to feel like you’re actually traveling to the featured country! So, we start at the airport — but we move right on to the most popular tourist sites, skipping the hassle of checking into a hotel and such! You’ll get a rundown of the country’s cultural life — the languages spoken, what type of clothes the natives wear, and what kind of foods they eat. You’ll also get some insight into their education system and healthcare policies. We’ll then provide you with information about all the ways you can travel abroad to that country, whether it’s to study, intern, volunteer, or work!
*Our United States students who register before April 15th will receive a free travel kit in the mail which consists of the countries’ profile, recipes, a t-shirt, a scratch map, a passport souvenir, and gifts from each country. Our International students will receive a digital travel kit due to international shipping costs.
Q: Who can tour around the world with us?
A: Anyone, from anywhere around the globe! This is a virtual tour, accessible to everyone with an internet connection. These tours were designed for students in middle and high school but we welcome any parents, friends, or family members who wish to join in!
Q: How much will it cost me?
A: The tours are FREE! We do welcome and appreciate any donations to help us carry out our mission and continue to keep our programs running. Partnership with businesses are strongly needed ❤️
Q: Is the travel kit free?
A: Yes! The gift package is FREE to all participants in the United States. Unfortunately, international participants will not receive the package due to shipping concerns.
Q: So, where are we going?
A: The destinations are Germany, South Africa, Botswana, Japan, Sri Lanka, and Russia.
