Where are we going?

We are going to Taller Puertorriqueno in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

When is the trip?

This trip will take place on August 4th, 2023

Is this a day drip or are we sleeping over?

This is a day trip, we will be leaving Westminster, Maryland at 7 am and returning to Westminster, Maryland by 7pm same day.

What time are we leaving?

We will be departing Westminster at 7am, Security Square Mall at 7:45 , White Marsh Mall at 8:15 am

Where should we meet to take the bus?

Pick-up will be at the Westminster Town Mall in front of Boscov's, Security Town Mall in front of Macy's, and White Marsh Mall in front of JC Penny

How much is the fees?

The price is $20.00 per person

What does the fees cover?

The fee covers food, snacks, a t-shirt, an entry fee to the cultural center and transportation

What is the age limit?

This trip is open to anyone from 9 years and above. Parents and guardians are welcome to join us too

Can I drive myself to meet you guys at Phiilly?

If you want to drive your own care, you are welcome to do so.

What is the dress code?

Please wear comfortable shoes

An Introduction to Taller’s History and Mission

A guided tour of the current gallery exhibitions

A walking tour of the Latino Fairhill neighborhood. In the Fairhill introduce you to the area’s Puerto Rican/Latino community and the murals, and discuss Latino history in Philadelphia and the United States.

A workshop in Puerto Rican Latin dance
